Baby Quasar – Age Reducing Technology?

Monday, January 28th, 2008

People will do anything to look younger, especially women. It’s kind of ridiculous but people will be buy snake oil in any form. Baby Quasar claims to be the best all around skin care tool.

Using both red and amber light for powerful anti-inflammatory properties and fibroblasts and collagen production, Baby Quasar says it gives long lasting results. It says its near infrared light will penetrate more deeply to stimulate blood flow and circulation and is the foundation of healthy looking skin.

I know that this is targeted more towards women but I also know there are a lot of men out there too who would secretly love this product. It costs $450, youth isn’t cheap.

The Portal Weighted Companion Cube Dangler and Necklace

Friday, January 25th, 2008

I have no idea how it happened but it seems all of my posts today have been over products that are either pink or adorned with hearts. I swear I haven’t gone mad over Valentine’s Day, it just turned out that way I suppose. Well straight from Etsy comes the Weighted Companion Cube Dangler as well as the necklace.

They are sold separately from the same vendor, who I’m thankful has a bit of practicality when it comes to jewelry. She didn’t leave the cube as a huge cube to hang from your neck, but made a one sided flat pendent instead. The Dangler is meant to hang from a suction cup, but she suggests also hanging it from your rear view mirror.

The necklace comes with a beaded chain, which I would replace, that much pink is just too much for me. The pendent measures 1 1/8 x 1 1/8 and is being sold for $15. The Dangler measures 1 x 1 x 1 and is being sold for $35. It comes with a suction cup.

Incase sells laptop sleaves in a pretty pink

Friday, January 25th, 2008

Sometimes even the most simple cases need a burst of color to make your day a little brighter. There’s something about a simple case shining in your favorite color that makes it okay that you’re toting around your laptop when you’d rather be relaxing someplace warmer.

Incase laptop sleeve

This Incase not only comes in pink but in a tan and dark brown as well, however, neither are quite as cute as the pink. It does leave a couple of options if you aren’t a fan of pink though. The case will fit a 13” MacBook and has two other sizes that will fit a 12” laptop and another at 15” for the MacBook Pro.

The case’s exterior features durable neoprene, the interior is cushioned as always and it also has a heavy-duty zipper. All three of the sizes are being sold for $34.95.

Persida Lapsac laptop bag

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

Any woman who tends to enjoy carrying around half of everything she owns in her purse might need a bigger laptop bag as well. This laptop bag can be used as more of a day to day bag, while still looking casual. In the picture shown by itself, it doesn’t seem to be that large of a bag. Yet when shown on the arm of the model, it is quite obvious it could hold enough to keep any pack rat happy.

It has a slightly abnormal spot to house the laptop, but I really wonder if it wouldn’t be more convenient in its new placement. The pouch for the laptop is well padded and zips closed to keep it safe. MacBooks fit great in the slot and it will hold up to a laptop measuring 12.78” x 9.1” x 1.08”.

The overall dimensions of the tote are 16” x 11.25”. It features four inner pockets, both the laptop pocket and the large compartment are lined. The bag is being sold for $58, the only available colors are the ones shown above.

Tagan IcyBox Hot Pink Hard Drive Case

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

I have to say I’m slightly offended by the “Ladies will love this” tag that came attached to the hot pink IcyBox. Just because something’s pink doesn’t mean all girls will instantly salivate over it. That being said, I kind of like it, it’s cute.

Aside from being pink the case is metal and plastic with a “rubberized surface” and it supports a 2.5” SATA HDD. It uses a USB 2.0 interface and has LED indicator lights.

Now here’s the part where girls get excited: accessories. It comes with the case, a carrying bag, USB cable, manual, screws and a screwdriver. It’s got it all and for only $20.

A cuddly Mario Scarf

Friday, January 18th, 2008

This scarf is for all the girl gamers who feel like they don’t get enough cute gamer gear. Straight from Etsy as usual, this little scarf gives a feminine twist to the classic Mario mushroom. Besides that it looks like something I’d want to curl up with. That is, if it were slightly larger, like a blanket.

Now that would be something, to have a Mario blanket made out of the same materials as this scarf. The seller Protean sells some odd products, but a couple I would be more than happy to snag. I’m not really sure about the jewelry made out of coffee beans though, that just seems a bit much for me.

Unfortunately the scarf is as of today sold out, however, maybe if we beg enough they’ll make a few more. When it was still in stock it was being sold for $25, and it measured at 54 inches.

Crafty Gaming Scarves

Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008

You have to love all the unique gamer fashion that pops up from time to time. I have said several times that Etsy is a great place to find great gamer and geek fashion. This time there is the 1UP scarf as well as the Pac Man Ghost Scarf both from the seller UrbanPrincess.

At the time I was flipping through her products I happened to be sipping on a Mt. Dew and about had it come out my nose when I saw the price. Both of the one of a kind scarves are being sold for a whopping $150 a piece.

Personally, I would sweet talk someone with a bit of a crafty touch to make if for me. I might even fork out about $50 to get them to do it. However, $150 just seems like a bit much.
